This past Monday we had a great time going "old school" and replaying all the games we used to play as a kid. Although it was obvious that some games are meant to be only played by kids (check out the result of Mr. Cool and Josh's collision in the last pic on the flicker slide show), it was still fun revisiting the things that used to keep us entertained during recess.
During the night we were also able to talk a little about how our childhood has affected who we are today. So often we spend our time looking forward without realizing that our past experiences and relationships (good and bad) affect the decisions we make and the type of people we want to be. Even the bad things in our past can be used for good purposes over time.
In the end, lovers of 4-square, red rover, Shark & Minnows, and Potato Sack relays went away happy as we concluded a time of looking back at some of our favorite childhood memories.
