Most of us have never gone into the Christmas Season wondering if we were going to get any gifts this year. But unfortunately, due to their circumstances, there are many families who cannot afford to buy their kids presents every year or have a big Christmas meal. So last Monday, Campus Life had its Christmas Auction to help families in the community provide presents for their kids and help them out this Christmas Season!
All of you did an awesome job bringing a variety of gifts for the auction, from board games, gift cards and cupcakes to an airsoft gun and a life-sized stuffed bear! Once again, the big hit of the night was the Mystery Box, which drew the most attention and was supplied by Tom Kern.
After all the gifts were auctioned off and the dust settled, you guys ended up raising over $400!! All the money will be used to buy gifts and food for two families, with each of them having three kids. Thanks to all who participated in the auction and made a difference in the community this Christmas!
We won't be meeting for the next few Mondays, but we hope everyone enjoys their break and has a Merry Christmas! We’ll see you back at the Warehouse on January 9th!
Make sure you check out pics from the Christmas Auction below!!
