Rafting Trip 2010

Campus Life had the awesome opportunity to brave the white water rapids and mountain sides of Wisconsin as we rafted and rock-climbed for three days. As 24 students and leaders camped in the woods, it was great to get away from the constant distractions of Downers Grove and experience nature in its finest. Whether it was battling the horse flies on the Wolf River, hanging out underneath a waterfall on the Moniminee River or climbing the rocks of Devil’s Lake, this was an experience we will never forget!

Also, throughout the week, Dave Schubert shared with us how we can answer the important question, “Who are you?” Though this a difficult question to answer, in small groups we discussed how we are all God’s creation and how we can be a new creation in Christ.

I hope you enjoy our top 10 moments of the trip and make sure to check out the pics below! If you didn’t get to join us this year, then I hope you can next year!
