What happens when I die?

The topic of what happens after death is a sensitive one. Thomas Jefferson once said that, "the only things that are sure in life are death and taxes." While I won't get into tax legislation here, I will hopefully help you think through the idea of what happens when you die.


Choose or lose

Have you ever watched little kids playing? Isn’t it funny...we don’t have to teach them to be selfish, but we do have to teach them to be selfless. I think if we’re honest with ourselves, even though we’re older not much has changed. We are naturally selfish. Most of the time, we choose the situation that is most beneficial to us and makes us happy.


Dr Phil: Emotions

Being in high school it's hard to express your emotions. It seems like the highs are higher and the lows are lower. Monday night Jessica shared her story about how growing up she faced some really tough emotional challenges including the death of her parents at an early age, an emotionally abusive home situation, and searching for meaning in the wrong places.
